一、課程簡介:本課程上課2小時至4小時,有課堂作業,學期成績以期末筆試佔40%,作業40%及課堂互動討論20%.上課討論內容主要包括年齡群化模式的評估理論,如Per-recruit models, year-class models, renewal theory, catch-age and age-structured assessment methods, size-structured models and assessment methods, optimal harvesting-optimization methods, biological reference points and risk, uncertainty and decision analysis等.如修習學生有較佳的數學基礎,課程可包括migration, movements and spatio-temporal consideration - population models, estimation of migration, migratory cohort and catch-at-age analysis, geographic apportionment and migratory per recruit analysis等.

二、先修課程:漁業生物學或水產資源學或教師同意
